• Our applications are running on a Kubernetes Cluster
• Independent responsibility for all the facets in software development lifecycle, including planning, technical drafting, implementation, documentation, and downstream application support
• Close cooperation with our business and development teams to expand and improve our current technology stack
• Responsible for definition, expansion, and implementation of internal and external APIs
• Influence others with your exceptional motivation and best-of-breed software. Bring in the best practices of API development
• Use continuous delivery tools and strategies to deliver high-quality code regularly
• Enthusiasm for agile working and the advantages it brings in terms of communication, flexibility, and delivery of executable codes
• Excellent debugging skills as well as problem identification and resolution skills
• Your role requires additionally an understanding of a wide variety of web applications and the ability to develop interface towards our products
Your profile
• Proven experience in as architect/senior developer, previous leadership experience is a big plus
• A solid grasp of object-oriented programming, automated software testing, databases, development and testing methodologies
• Expertise in any object-oriented language, preferably Ruby and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails
• Experience with GraphQl, Elasticsearch and Redis is highly valued
• Enthusiasm for excellence and a strong “hands-on” attitude
• You enjoy the challenge, and rewards of working in a dynamic environment
• You are deeply committed to TDD and CI using tools like RSpec and Jenkins
• You live by DRY, KISS, SOLID principles
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
